Thank you for your interest in Till’s referral program!

Both parties (Referring and Referred) must activate their families and have a kid make their first purchase with their Till Visa® Debit Card to be eligible for a promotion. Once both parties (Referring and Referred) satisfy the qualifications, the promotion bonus will be applied to both accounts within 30 days. An Eligible Referrer can earn up to $500.00.

How do referrals and promo codes work?

Share your referral code with family and friends. If someone with whom you’ve shared your referral code signs up and activates their family, once a kid in that family uses their Till Visa® Debit Card (physical or virtual) to make a purchase, you BOTH earn money!

Parents

  1. Sign up and create a family or join a family on Till
  2. Activate your family
  3. Once your family is activated, you can start sharing your referral code
  4. Your friends and family enter your referral code when they sign up for Till

Kids 13 and older:

  1. Download the Till app
  2. Tap get started
  3. Select kid as role
  4. Sign up (With Parent’s approval)
  5. Once your profile is created, you can start sharing your referral code from your dashboard.

If parents or kids (13 and older) have a promo code from a podcast or an ad, it works the same way! Enter the code when you’re signing up to earn money after you activate your family and a kid uses their Till Visa® Debit Card.

How do I enter a referral or promo code?

When Creating a Family

After you’ve created your Till profile, verified your identity, and created your Till family, you’ll be able to enter a referral or promo code. Tap the “Enter referral code” button and then enter your code.

When Accepting an Invite as an Admin

After you’ve created your Till profile and verified your identity, you’ll be able to enter a referral or promo code. Tap the “Enter referral code” button and then enter your code.

When Accepting an Invite as a Kid

After you’ve created your Till profile, you’ll be able to enter a referral or promo code. Tap the “Enter referral code” button and then enter your code.

When a kid (13 years or older) creates their profile (without following an invite)

After you’ve created your Till profile, you’ll be able to enter a referral or promo code. Tap the “Enter referral code” button and then enter your code.

Who can enter a referral or promo code?

Owner, admin, or kids in a Till family can enter a referral or promo code. Community members are not able to enter referral or promo codes.

Only one referral or promo code can be entered per activated family. Once a code is redeemed within a family during sign-up, no one else in that family can redeem a referral or promo code.

What is an activated family?

An activated family is a Till family that has had at least one kid that has joined the family, and a parent has given money to at least one kid in the family. The steps to an activated family are:

Family created

This means you have signed up, verified your identity, and named your family. At this point, you can invite your kid(s) to join Till.

Kid has joined the family

This means you or an admin have sent a kid an invite (via email or text) and that the kid has successfully joined your family.

Money transferred to kid

This means at least one kid in your family has received money via Quick Give, Contribution, Allowance, or Task. As long as they’ve received some amount of money, they're good to go!

Sharing Codes

All users in the immediate family (owners, admins, kids) are able to share their referral codes with friends and family. Kids (13 and older) can share their code once they’ve downloaded the app and completed sign-up, and owners and admins can do so after their family has become activated.

Open the referral section within settings and from there you can copy your code and paste it wherever you want. Or you can tap “Share my code” and select how you want to share it (email, text, social media post, etc).

How do I earn from my referral codes?

When a family member or friend uses your code when signing up for Till, after their family becomes activated and a kid uses their Till Visa® Debit Card (physical or virtual) to make a purchase, you’ll earn the referral bonus. Parents’ referral bonus will go into their funding balance, and kids’ referral bonus will go into their save balance once they are part of an activated family.

What if multiple members of a family try to redeem a code?

Whoever entered the code first when signing up will be eligible for the referral bonus.

TILL REFERRAL PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

Disclaimer: Till Financial may offer different promotions from time to time. These offers may be for a limited time, and bonus payout amounts may vary by campaign. Please refer to each offer for the specific payout amount and expiration date.

Those Till users who are part of an active family (“Eligible Referrer(s)”) may be entitled to voluntarily participate in the Till Referral Program (“Referral Program”). A unique referral code is assigned to the Eligible Referrer’s account, referred to as their personalized referral code (“Referral Code”). To participate in the Referral Program, Eligible Referrers will need to refer friends who have not already created an account with Till (“Referred User(s)”) and invite them to sign up for Till using their Referral Code.

For each Referred User who opens and funds a new Till funding account by using the Referral Code or uses the Referral Code to initiate a new family activation, and meets the terms and conditions of the specific promotional campaign associated with the Referral Code that was used for the Referral Program, Till will: (a) credit the Eligible Referrer’s Till funding account (owner or admin) or save balance (kid) with a one-time referral bonus in the amount specified in the promotional campaign associated with the Referral Code that was used for the referral (“Referral Bonus”); and (b) credit the Till funding account (owner or admin) or save balance (kid) of the Referred User with a one-time welcome bonus in the amount specified in the promotional campaign associated with the Referral Code that was used for the referral (“Welcome Bonus”). Only one Referral Bonus and one Welcome Bonus will be awarded to each Referred User. Only one Welcome Bonus will be awarded to the Referred User’s family profile within the Till platform. Eligible Referrers will not earn a Referral Bonus if the Referred User has or had an existing Till funding account, or does not use their Referral Link.

The Referral Bonus and Welcome awarded must be spent through the Till Visa® Debit Cards (physical or digital) and may not be transferred off the platform by any other means. Both parties (Referring and Referred) must activate their families and have a kid make a card purchase with their Till Visa® Debit Card (Physical or Virtual) to be eligible for a promotion. Card purchases mean any payment made for goods or services(excluding cash withdrawals. Cash transactions via Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, and any other money orders, and financial apps, including but not limited to credit card payments, stock investments, crypto investments, debit card and gift card loading or top off, are not considered eligible. Once both parties (Referring and Referred) meet the qualifications, the promotion bonus will be applied to both accounts within 30 days of eligibility of both the referrer and referee, whatever is later. An Eligible Referrer can earn up to $500.00.

The Referral Code may only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. Eligible Referrers may share their code with their personal connections via social media, email, text message, or word of mouth, where they are the primary content owner. In cases where the Eligible Referrer is not the primary owner of the content or website (e.g., Wikipedia, coupon websites, affiliate websites, discussion forums, etc.), public distribution is not allowed. Promoting or advertising the Referral Link via search engine marketing or any other paid advertising media (e.g. Google Ads/TikTok/Snapchat/Bing/Yahoo or similar) is not allowed. Eligible Referrers are not allowed to misrepresent their relationship with Till, and they will not make any warranty or representation on behalf of Till. You cannot refer yourself or create multiple, fictitious, or fake accounts with Till or participate in the Referral Program for the purposes of earning either the Referral Bonus or the Welcome Bonus.

Till reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deactivate the Eligible Referrer’s account(s) and revoke the Referral Bonus and/or the Welcome Bonus of any account holder who it finds or believes to be earning or using Referral Credits against these Terms of Service, or who is manipulating or abusing Till Services or the Till Platform. Till reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny an Eligible Referrer or a Referred User access to a Till account for reasons including but not limited to suspected fraud or failure to meet the eligibility criteria for the product. In this case, the Eligible Referrer would not receive the Referral Bonus.

For greater certainty, Till reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to add to or amend these Terms of Service in relation to the use of the Referral Program or to vary or terminate the operation of a Referral Bonus issued pursuant to the Referral Program at any time without notice. Criteria for the Referral Bonus and the Welcome Bonus are determined at Till’s sole discretion and may change over the course of the Referral Program. The amount of the Referral Bonus and the Welcome Bonus earned and redeemed are subject to change at any time at Till’s sole discretion.
